Much could be said on this topic. The principles of recovery<\/strong> and recycling<\/strong> have always been major issues to which our tanneries have dedicated much attention, thus engendering a classic model of circularity<\/strong>.<\/p>\n By adopting a systematically modern, leading-edge industrial approach<\/strong>, tanneries turn byproducts of the food chain into a quality material of excellence, while in turn valorizing their own waste in the form of raw materials for other industrial production chains (thus creating truly symbiotic links throughout the value chain).<\/p>\n If our own function as \u201cwaste<\/em>\u201d users were to come to an end, huge masses of refuse would be created. We are fully aware of the key concept of circular economies \u2013 designing products so that what is of use today will also be of use tomorrow as input for new production cycles.<\/p>\n We insist on the circular economy<\/strong> and on our various ongoing (or already implemented) initiatives, which bear witness to the efforts made by the tanning sector to successfully concretize the paradigms engendered by a new economic vision: valorization of materials during the processing itself. Indeed, when we recover waste we contribute to the emergence of new, interesting business openings also in other sectors.<\/p>\n To do this, we must also act creatively as entrepreneurs. We must systematically invest in\u00a0training<\/strong> and R&D<\/strong>. Necessity as a \u2018mother of invention\u2019.
